NYer Of The Week: Leader Works To "Tell Every Amazing Lady" About Ovarian Cancer

Last week when I was watching the NY1 News they were presenting the New Yorker of the Week named Pamela Esposito Amery. She created the TEAL non-profit organization to create awareness regarding Ovarian Cancer since there is a lack of consciousness in this specific cancer. They were promoting the 3^rd Annual TEAL Walk held by the Ovarian Research Foundation last September 10^th, 2011 at Prospect Park, Brooklyn. In the first two years, Amery, her sister, and almost 2,000 participants raised more than $100,000 for the Ovarian Research Foundation.
