Anti-Acne diet

Hello Guys,

I found another reason to cut down on carbohydrates and incorporate healthier alternatives in our daily diets. It was found that eating foods high in sugar, including milk sugar (found in a variety of dairy products) can cause the skin to have an inflammatory response causing acne.

The way it works is that, some people may have too much yeast in their body. The yeast feeds on the large amount of sugar, which allows them to multiply. It was found that there is yeast in our sebaceous glads (glands in our skin that releases oils to moisturize our skin). The best way to combat this deep acne is to eat foods rich in anti-oxidants, eat foods that have good fats like avocado,nuts and fish.

From this class, I have have obtained many reasons to start eating healthier, from decreasing your chances of cancer to decreasing wrinkles.

  1. I agree. This class has taught me to eat healthier. But is has also taught me, that it takes time.

    but i did not know that eating spicy foods could cause or worsen acne. WOW.
