The EHHOP is designed to help adults that live in East Harlem and do not have health insurance. The only set hours on Saturday from 9am-12pm. The doctors are either volunteers or medical interns.

ReplyDeleteI feel that this article goes hand-in-hand with last Thursdays lecture because most people in the Harlem don't have insurance which makes it difficult to pay for cancer treatment.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can ask the doctors that volunteer to give out their information for our book. Maybe they can even come talk to the community once we finalize our plans for the semester.
