The Summit will bring together students from all over NYC to meet one another, share project ideas, collaborate with others and prepare for Earth Day. They will be focusing on bringing students the information & skills needed to take action on some of the environmental issues facing us today. Please come out and show your support!!!
I never saw that around campus. I feel that this collaboration is a good thing because we need to be more green. We need to be more green because the earths environment is changing because of the things we do. And what we do can affect future generations to come.
ReplyDeleteFor example the calcium carbonate( part of the carbon cycle) in the water dissolves in cooler temperatures. This dissolving removes carbon from the atmosphere, which in turn means no more holes in the ozone layer. However, the waters are warming up, so less carbon will be in our waters and more carbon will be in our atmosphere.
